Questions
Asked about stone foundation repair
Can a stone foundation be waterproofed?
Managed, yes. Interior drainage is usually the most effective approach.
Can't I just use regular mortar?
No. Portland-heavy mortar is harder than the stone and damages it. We use lime-based.
Is it structural?
Loose stones can be. We'll tell you, and bring in AVH Foundations if it's beyond repair.
