Basement waterproofing in Brantford.
Brantford has seen its share of water, from the 2018 ice-jam flood to the July 2024 storm that flooded basements across the city. We find where water gets into yours and stop it, backed by the No Leak Guarantee.

A river city with a lot of old basements.
In February 2018 an ice jam pushed the Grand River over the dikes, and more than 2,000 homes in Holmedale, Old West Brant and Eagle Place were evacuated. On July 16, 2024, heavy rain flooded basements around the city, and the City later set up its Basement Flooding Prevention Grant in response.
River flooding is handled by the City and the conservation authority through the dikes and floodwalls. What we deal with every week is the everyday kind of water: rain and groundwater getting through cracks, old walls and failed weeping tile. The City's own list of basement flooding causes includes poor lot grading, poor basement sealing, weeping tile failure, improperly installed downspouts and eavestrough debris.
Age is a big factor here. A third of Brantford's homes were built before 1960, and older basements often have stone or block walls, old clay weeping tile and no sump at all. That's where crack injection, exterior waterproofing and a properly sized sump system make the biggest difference.
