Foundation repair in Oakville.
From Old Oakville's 19th-century homes to the subdivisions north of the QEW, we repair, underpin and build foundations across Oakville. Our own crew, engineered where required, quoted in writing.

Heritage by the lake, clay to the north.
Oakville grew from about 6,900 people in 1951 to more than 61,000 by 1971, after the Ford plant arrived and the town merged with Trafalgar Township and Bronte in 1962. Old Oakville, by the harbour, has homes from the early 1800s to the early 1900s. College Park went up mostly from the mid-1950s to the late 1980s, and Glen Abbey, River Oaks and West Oak Trails followed from the 1980s into the 2000s.
The ground changes as you head north. Much of north Oakville sits on Halton Till, a silt to clayey-silt till over shale bedrock that water barely moves through. Clay that stays wet pushes harder on foundation walls, which is a big part of why block foundations here bow and crack.
The Town is clear about permits. It lists underpinning foundation walls, excavating to increase basement headroom, and adding a below-grade entrance or walkout as work that needs a building permit, and recommends an architect, engineer or qualified designer for the drawings. We coordinate the engineering and the permit as part of the job.
